North America Sort Centers (NASC) are experiencing explosive growth and looking for a skilled, highly motivated and experienced Supply Chain Manager with leadership experience and a strong delivery record to join the NASC Mid-Term Planning Team (US and Canada). The Sort Center network is the critical Middle-Mile solution in the Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) group, linking Fulfillment Centers to the Last Mile. The experience of our customers is dependent on our ability to efficiently execute new programs and manage volume flow through the middle-mile network.
Supply Chain Manager will interact with all facets of the NASC Network driving innovation, consistency, increased control, uniformity, and the development of a more efficient centralized network planning process working with SC Operations and core Transportation teams in North America.
Successful candidates will be self-starters who have experience in operations life cycles, including development, design, implementation, enhancement and support along with project/program management experience. A strong bias for action, planning skills, quantitative analysis, and the ability to adopt and deliver new initiatives involving leadership across cross-functional operations, technical, and business teams is essential. This position will include regular direct communications with senior leaders across the organization.
The candidate must be agile with the ability to quickly adopt and drive strategies, plans, resources and solutions in response to dynamic business requirements. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals across the organization.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $77,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $141,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
- Support Planning and Change Management Functions for NASC including Peak and Prime Week Solves.
- Lead major network changes from design till implementation integrating other network programs as needed.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions, influencing and facilitating agreements to achieve shared network capacity goals.
- Define metrics, develop program management mechanisms, and invent/simplify processes to drive decision-making in complex network change situations.
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- 2 years of supply chain experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
