The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Training and Certification Team is looking for Sr. Technical Program Manager who wants to be a part of building exciting and new services on AWS. Customers are rapidly adopting Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a way to build scalable and cost-effective web and IT solutions for their businesses. To do that effectively, they need training, and not just a couple of PowerPoint slides and a long lecture. AWS is developing highly technical learning solutions with extensive hands-on labs that get customers deep into AWS technologies. Youll get to teach and have some fun at the same time! The qualified candidate will have excellent writing skills and technical knowledge of AWS domains. Above all, you will have a passion for learning.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2 years of software development experience
  • 3 years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience in writing SQL Queries and create dashboards (e.g Quicksight).

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of working directly with engineering teams experience

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,800 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
