The World-Wide Technology Deployment (WWTD) team is seeking an experienced Technical Vendor Program Manager to drive Service Providers/Tech Integrator strategy and excellence across our global robotics technology initiatives. This role focuses on developing and managing strategic vendor relationships to support Amazon's robotics and automation technology deployment programs. The PM will assess both new and existing vendors, create scalable vendor strategies, and drive continuous improvement across the North America region. A critical aspect of this role involves leading complex contract negotiations that define service level agreements, performance metrics, and delivery expectations for vendor-provided services. This position requires deep understanding of robotics infrastructure combined with strong vendor management and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent business judgment based on data and the ability to influence vendor performance at scale.
This position requires 25% travel including domestic and international travel.

The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. - Lead end-to-end contract negotiations, including statement of work development, pricing structures, and service level agreements that ensure vendor accountability
- Develop and execute vendor strategies that align with technical infrastructure requirements and business goals
- Drive negotiation strategy to improve terms and cost structures, building long-term vendor relationships while maintaining service quality standards
- Create and maintain vendor management frameworks, including performance metrics, cost models, and contractual compliance tracking
- Partner with deployment teams to understand technical requirements and translate these into vendor contractual obligations and deliverables
- Implement continuous improvement programs with vendors to enhance service quality and efficiency

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
- Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- 3 years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3 years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
