Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $46,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $74,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and develop instructional content for in-person, virtual, and on-demand learning experiences.
- Apply adult learning principles to create engaging and effective instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), job aids, guides, and assessments.
- Conduct needs analysis and evaluate the effectiveness of training solutions.
- Ensure training materials are aligned with business goals, brand standards, and instructional design best practices.
- Manage project timelines and communicate progress with stakeholders regularly.
- Incorporate feedback to iterate and improve content.
- Use learning management systems (LMS) and authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia.
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 2 years of experience in instructional design or learning content development.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.).
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools and LMS platforms.
- Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or related field.
- Experience designing content for frontline or operational roles.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
