The US Amazon Freight Partner (AFP) Program has built world-class Middle Mile operations, which rely on an exceptional pool of carriers who work relentlessly to meet our customers’ expectations. TRC is looking for a high-judgment individual to join us as a Transportation Risk Manager, responsible for assessing and prioritizing risk coverage across the US, governing and optimizing internal processes, helping promoting the TRC brand, while safeguarding the health of the organization, ultimately driving a culture of compliance both internally and externally.
We are looking for a Transportation Risk Manager to:1) analyze risks of the different programs in the Middle Mile space in the US, 2) identify compliance safety, regulatory and reputational risks, and propose risk-mitigation solutions, 3) drive complex and data driven investigations involving multiple stakeholders and 4) be able to present conclusions to senior leadership. The successful candidate will have exceptional attention to details and strong data-driven and tech mindset and capabilities, but also excellent soft skills for stakeholder management and earning teams trust. Finally, the successful candidate will display good team spirit and autonomy.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Act as a Risk & Compliance program manager, understand and be able to optimize risk coverage drive improvement on TRC's audit and monitoring processes
- Analyze regulatory requirements across the US, and understand their impact on our audit and monitoring processes
- Provide precise reports and clear recommendations to internal stakeholders and Amazon leadership wherever required
- Meet individual and team goals with the highest standards and diligence
- Lead and/or participate in special projects and/or assignments as necessary

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience in compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent
- Experience handling confidential information
- Experience with SQL and Excel
- Experience in program requirements definition, together with data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements
- Strong audit, risk and compliance experience, preferably in transport
