Job Summary
Join Amazon Fire TV as a Sr. UX Designer to spearhead the development of the Fire TV Channels app, offering a wide array of free streaming content. You will be instrumental in crafting user experiences, from problem identification to designing seamless digital interactions within the app. Your role will involve prototyping, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading projects amidst uncertainty.
Responsibilities
- Refine UI architecture, interface, and interaction flows for the Fire TV Channels app.
- Lead end-to-end processes from problem definition to delivery.
- Utilize business requirements and research to shape product strategy through scenarios and high-level requirements.
- Collaborate with partners to identify key objectives and business goals.
- Create wireframes, visual mockups, and prototypes to propose new experiences.
- Develop conceptual models that span multiple devices.
- Design highly usable digital experiences by prototyping, testing, and iterating designs.
- Maintain detailed user-interface specifications and design patterns.
- Advocate for design with non-design audiences effectively.
- Guide cross-functional teams to promote UX thinking and design excellence.
Skills
- 6 years of design experience.
- Online portfolio showcasing work samples of user-centered design solutions.
- Proficiency in information architecture best practices.
Qualifications
Basic qualifications:
- Experience working on end-to-end user-centered design solutions across various products.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to translate technical requirements into user experience needs effectively.
- Familiarity with Material UI (React) component libraries and design systems management.
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and gathering feedback for iterative design improvements.
