You'll craft elegant design solutions across a range of personas and platforms at global scale and collaborate closely with product and engineering partners, as well as multiple partner teams within the broader People Experience Technology (PXT).

To succeed in this role, you must be an innovative self-starter in driving operational excellence and a strategic big-picture thinker. Our environment requires the skills to work collaboratively and the commitment to take ownership when needed.

- Participate in the design of all phases of the product development lifecycle from discovery to launch.
- Champion user-centered design culture.
- Drive creative process and collaboration with cross-functional partners to propose new ideas and strategies.
- Model behavior that exemplifies Amazon Leadership Principles in their team and raises the design bar for the organization.
- Create and drive adoption of design guidelines, mechanisms, best practices, process, and tools.

A day in the life
As a UX Designer, you will be working with product and engineering stakeholders closely on day-to-day basis. You will independently contribute to multiple products/features at the same time and collaborate with other UX designers, connecting individual features to a holistic experience. UX Researchers and Principal UX Designers will support you. You will share design work regularly with the design team for peer review, stakeholder review, and leadership.
