AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.Amazon is seeking to hire a product manager for Amazon Linux operating system. As a senior PMT for External Services at AWS, you will own the long-term vision and roadmap for Amazon Linux. Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) is looking for a dynamic and seasoned product leader to help define and build the future of cloud computing. Customers around the world rely on Amazon EC2 to provide elastic, high performance, secure, and cost effective resources to scale their infrastructure to keep up with their changing business needs. Within EC2, you will work on the team that delivers the Amazon Linux operating system. As a member of the EC2 Product Management team, you will join other highly respected product and engineering leaders to create the future of the computing platform.We are looking for a Product manager who will own and drive product management for Amazon Linux, the Linux distribution which powers AWS services and is the most popular operating system used by customers to run their workloads on AWS. You will have strong ownership over portfolio strategy, product definition, feature prioritization, messaging, pricing (if applicable), adoption, customer interaction, sales enablement, etc. This is a high visibility and high impact role that will interact with all levels of AWS leadership.The ideal candidate is excited about the incredible opportunity cloud computing represents and is deeply passionate about working with great teams that deliver the highest quality services. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800 / year in our highest geographic market.
