About the Role
This role will actively engage the existing broker base to retain and increase premium/revenue while actively marketing and acquiring new brokers through both inbound and outbound activity. Additionally, the role will help develop a broker playbook that outlines opportunities to grow through cross sales. The Broker Manager will develop relationships and ensure premium growth for our products.
The Day-to-Day
- Engage brokers where we have meaningful products.
- Manage any sub-producer relationships tied to our business.
- Work hand in hand with both the products and distribution leaders to develop a sales strategy that meets and ultimately exceeds our KPI’s.
- Hold appointed agents accountable for meeting growth targets.
- Drive growth for association clients & non-sponsored plans in the following areas: new business sales, retention results, policy counts and premium retention.
- Attend and participate in monthly/quarterly stewardship meetings with brokers.
- Recruit, train, and motivate a new cohort of producers capable of selling our Event Cancellation and Fidelity bonds product lines through both inbound and outbound sales efforts.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree preferred.
- P&C License is required.
- Knowledge of complex products such as E&O, D&O, and Cyber insurance is required.
- Proven broker management experience.
- Professional demeanor with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple client projects and meet defined timelines.
- Ability to drive company growth in various areas.
- Proficient abilities with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word etc.)
- Up to 25% overnight travel.
