The Opportunity
Perspective Insurance is looking to hire an organized, conscientious, and enthusiastic Receptionist to help direct our customers and answer incoming calls.
Count On To:
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
- Receive, sort and distribute daily mail
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
- Process payments in person or over the phone
- Review the daily communication log and process it accordingly
- Process basic customer change requests
- Investigate customer payment issues
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong customer service focus with a highly professional attitude and approach to business
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of agency management software and insurance rating software; proficient in Microsoft Suite office software; working knowledge of Applied EPIC.
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Must have the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced team environment
- Must have the ability to maintain a cordial and professional relationship with clients, co-workers, carriers, vendors, and other business contacts
- Ability to interact with others effectively by utilizing good communications skills, cooperating purposefully, and providing information and guidance, as needed, to achieve the business goals of the agency and producer.
