Build and lead our Sales & Business Development team, manage a territory in Puerto Rico, and directly impact our market presence and growth. We're seeking a strategic, creative, and self-motivated leader with strong communication skills (English and Spanish) and the ability to inspire and collaborate effectively.
- Team Leadership:
- Build and mentor a high-performing sales team through regular coaching, feedback, and development opportunities
- With your entrepreneurial approach, establish KPIs and strategies for the team, analyzing trends and results to enhance team performance.
- Analyze team activities and provide coaching.
- Lead recruiting efforts to build and expand the team.
- Territory Management (Puerto Rico):
- Develop, execute and manage sales efforts for the Puerto Rico market.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Travel to Puerto Rico 1-2 weeks per month.
- Manage and grow existing accounts.
- Business Development (General):
- Develop yearly target revenue goals and comprehensive business development plans.
- Identify new business opportunities (upselling, cross-selling) within your territory and guide team members in developing theirs.
- Lead compelling sales pitches and presentations.
- Maintain insights into market trends and competitor activities.
Education and Experience:
- Food Sales / Marketing & Management experience required with a proven track record of success
- Demonstrated leadership skills, particularly within the retail and foodservice channels, including the ability to cooperate, coordinate, direct and inspire the productivity of others.
- Entrepreneurial minded strategic thinker with planning abilities
- Ability to prioritize, anticipate situations and challenges and take decisive action.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Solid understanding of profitability measurements, key drivers, and a history of achieving profitable growth.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Bilingual Spanish.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Base salary: $90,000 - $110,000 plus uncapped commissions on total revenue generated
