Daily Life :
You’ll oversee and optimize safety protocols across multiple project sites, performing inspections, audits, and training sessions to maintain compliance and mitigate risks. Your day will involve close collaboration with site superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams, ensuring the highest safety standards are upheld. With a company vehicle at your disposal, you’ll travel between sites as you champion workplace safety and contribute to the success of high-profile projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement company-wide safety policies and training programs.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections across job sites.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal laws.
- Partner with superintendents and foremen to lead tailgate safety meetings.
- Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions, and maintain detailed reports.
- Review and approve subcontractor safety plans.
- Train and mentor site employees in safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
- Oversee COVID-19 program compliance and updates.
- Contribute to the revision and implementation of the employee handbook.
