Job Title : Maintenance Assistant
Facility : Ambassador Healthcare at College Park
Salary : $21-$23 per hour
Shift : 7 AM - 3 PM
Ambassador Healthcare at College Park is seeking a dedicated and reliable Maintenance Assistant to maintain our facilities and perform regular cleaning tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for removing trash and recyclable materials, overseeing the work of contracted vendors as required, attending training and safety programs, and participating in staff meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing accurate repair and cleaning reports.
Key Responsibilities :
- Complete minor repair work, including repairing doors, locks, door frames, and handles, as well as replacing light bulbs, sockets, switches, and window glass.
- Perform basic plumbing tasks, such as unclogging drains and fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
- Carry out regular cleaning duties, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, and vacuuming.
- Maintain all outdoor areas, including mowing, trimming, edging the lawn, and shoveling snow and ice as needed.
- Inspect control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues requiring immediate attention.
- Take inventory of maintenance supplies and notify the Supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
- Promptly respond to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.
- Ensure all maintenance equipment is in good working order.
