What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Harness Assembler position at Ambassador Personnel, Inc. [Gaffney, SC]?
Ambassador has immediate needs for Electrical Harness Assemblers for a local manufacturing facility in the Clover, SC area; this is a great opportunity with small family-owned business.
Positions are 1st shift, temp to hire after 90 days.
Paid weekly.
4 day work week (Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday.)
10 hour shifts 6am - 5pm, with 2 - 15-minute breaks and a 1 hour lunch break.
Major Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical harnesses for computers as a team or individually using technical drawings, bills of materials, or other written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
- Use of hand and power tools to cut, strip, crimp, and install connectors/terminals in the proper position.
- Provide quality assurance, pack and ship said products.
- Perform work as assigned by supervisor.
- Understand and follow directions.
- Meet productivity requirements, committed to and produces quality work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Required Experience:
- Ability to use basic math skills.
- Use of power and hand tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and ruler.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of production, process and quality systems.
