We are searching for a Extrusion Operator candidate for the Spartanburg, SC area.
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Extrusion Operator to join our dynamic production team. As an Extrusion Operator, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient production of high-quality extruded products. Your primary responsibility will be to operate and oversee the extrusion machinery, making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance and quality standards. This position requires a proactive attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to safety practices.
Qualifications :
- Responsible for operating extruder to run a sample for quality control to test
- Responsible for loading proper bowl onto elevator to send upstairs / downstairs
- Fast-paced environment, must be able to operate 2 machines at one time
- Responsible for cleaning assigned extruder as instructed
- Responsible for recording machine settings and weights on paperwork
- MATH, MATH, and MATH!
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be able to operate forklift
- General housekeeping of assigned extruder area
