We are searching for a Production Operator (blends area) candidate for the Spartanburg, SC area.
Job Summary :
As a Production Operator, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible production of our products. Under the guidance of a shift leader, you will operate and maintain machinery such as mixers, fillers, and forklifts, measure chemicals to meet formulation and compliance standards, and uphold safety regulations while maintaining a clean workspace. This role requires physical strength, including the ability to lift up to 60 pounds, strong organizational skills, and dedication to safety and teamwork. A high school diploma is required, and experience in chemical or paint production is a plus. Flexibility, dependability, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities are essential for success in this role.
Qualifications :
- Accurately weigh and mix additive into correct bin(s)
- Load and unload bin(s) into mixer with forklift
- Responsible for taking mixed bin(s) to mill area
- Assist with loading bin(s) onto correct mills when instructed
- MATH, MATH, and MATH!
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Lots of standing, lifting, and weighing (nothing over 55 lbs.)
- General housekeeping in area
