Looking for a great opportunity to work with electrical circuits boards and be part of an exciting team! We have a very hands-on opportunity!
We need an Electronic Assembler in Boonton, NJ! Hours are Monday-Friday 7 am-3 : 30pm. Must have minimum of 1 year experience! Must have excellent soldering skills.
Position Summary : Responsible for the assembly of thorough-hole printed circuit boards that are of low or moderate complexity for which procedures and methods are prescribed. Intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of parts (involving close tolerances and interrelated factors) are required to complete products, units, or sub-assemblies.
Position Responsibilities :
- Assembles and / or wires are moderately complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints. Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required; tolerances are close.
- Has the ability to follow work cell procedures.
- Set up and operate one or more production type machines such as component trim machines, Amp machines, and riveting machines.
- It is flexible and can perform many operations on products in and outside of the home department.
- Solders to best commercial specifications.
- Use hand and power tools as required.
- Builds harness assemblies.
- Use work order package and utilize on-line bar code reporting system for labor and manufacturing quantities
- Performs related duties assigned by the Supervisor.
- Strives to meet prescribed quality standards in an ISO environment.
Experience Required : Minimum of 1-year electronic assembly experience.
Ability to identify components and color codes.
