Ambassador Personnel is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our client in the Huntersville NC area. This is a direct hire opportunity with a great company that offers amazing benefits, paid time off, holiday pay, and 401k.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician will conduct preventative, predictive and emergency maintenance to production equipment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and overhaul the electrical components of critical production equipment
- Performs predictive and preventative maintenance tasks
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair
- Service and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other automation and control devices
- Troubleshoot variable frequency, DC motor drive systems, servos, and steppers
- Perform root cause analysis of equipment failure and perform corrective maintenance accordingly
- Responds to and corrects equipment stoppage / mechanical breakdowns. Troubleshoots, repairs, replaces worn parts, motors, control devices, etc.
- Operates machine shop equipment, hand tools, power tools, and makes required parts when necessary.
- Communicate scope of work for maintenance projects and communicate progress to Production Manager
- Serve as a point of contact for outside vendors and contractors’ jobs onsite
