What are the responsibilities and job description for the Laser Operator position at Ambassador Personnel, Inc.?
EXCELLENT HOURS! Work Nights and have your days and weekends free! Work Hours Sunday-Wednesday 8:00PM – 6:00AM.
As a Laser & Saw Operator, you will set up, operate, and maintain laser and saw machines and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
Duties may include the following:
- Set up, maintain, and operate laser and saw machines.
- Perform typical laser cutting, saw and welding operations.
- Plan sequence of operations and review blueprints to ensure precision.
- Select proper cutting and welding programs, and proper fixtures.
- Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
- Make proper set-ups for cutting and welding operations.
- Perform all dimensional inspections.
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- May work at different workstations as production needs require.
Skills Needed:
- Precise Attention to detail.
- Forklift Experience a plus.
- Mechanical and technical skills.
- Physical ability and endurance to stand and bend over for an extended period.
- Stamina working long hours doing repetitive movements.
- Possess the physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
