Quality Inspector

We are searching for a Quality Inspector in the Simpsonville, SC area.

A day in the life of a quality inspector involves carefully examining products or materials to ensure they meet specified standards and regulations. The inspector begins by reviewing blueprints or guidelines to understand the required specifications, then inspects items using tools like calipers, gauges, and microscopes. Throughout the day, they document their findings, flagging any defects or issues and communicating them to the production team for corrective action. Quality inspectors also participate in meetings to discuss improvements and ensure consistency in the manufacturing process.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect, test, or torque measure materials or products being produced.
• Document material defects, assembly errors, and paint issues.
• Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products.
• Inspectors mark, tag, or note problems. They may reject defective items outright, send them for repair, or fix minor problems themselves. If the product is acceptable, the inspector certifies it.
• Monitor EV assembly to ensure quality standards are met.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• HS Diploma or Certificate of Completion (GED).
• 2 or more years of experience in quality inspection role.
• High attention to detail and self-motivation skills.
• Quality certifications a plus.
• ISO / LEAN experience a plus.

Pay: $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
