What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Specialist position at Ambassador Resources?
We are partnering with a well-known Construction company based in North Jersey on their search to add a strong Accounting Specialist to their team. The successful candidate will have either a Degree in Accounting or several years of accounting experience, knowledge of reconciliations, and proficient in Microsoft Excel. This is an exciting Temporary opportunity to build relationships, gain new accounting skills, and work with an excellent team environment. This is reporting directly into the Assistant Controller.
Responsibilities:
Perform accounts payable and receivable process
Process daily cash reconciliations
Perform gross profit for construction sales
Monthly calculations for commissions
Prepare beginning and year end reports
Assist with monthly depreciation analysis
Enter payroll journal entries
Requirements:
- Must have Reconciliation experience
- Must have bachelor’s in accounting or 3 years of accounting experience
- Must be proficient in MS Excel Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s
- Can work Onsite 5 days a week
- Commutable to Piscataway, NJ
- Hours: 8am-5:00pm (Some Flexibility)
Salary : $21 - $23
