Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Construction Laborer located in Mason, MI. The Construction Laborer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as assisting with projects, handling materials, cleaning worksites, and supporting the construction team in various tasks.
- Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Demolition
- Perform physical labor
- Load or unload construction materials
- Assist Site Superintendent and carpenters
- Operate machinery
- Maintain job cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned by Site Superintendent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to do repetitive movements.
- Ability to operate a variety of tools and machinery.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Ability to work additional hours as necessary to maintain project schedules.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
- Must be able to work in an environment with a loud noise level.
