What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNA (Nurse Aide) position at Ambe Healthcare Staffing?

Department: LTC/SNF | CNA
- # of beds: 60 beds. Average census of 25.
- Patient Ratios: 1-2 on staff per shift, dependent on facility/size/census.
- Required Certifications: BLS | CNAs: CNA.
- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Accept LTC, skilled, rehab, hospice, & dementia residents.
- Experience: Need to have experience in smaller, rural facilities.
- Job Duties: MAs & CNAs: Vital Signs, passing meal trays & dining room assistance including feeding
assistance/monitoring, I/Os, turning, bathing, changing the linens, tidying resident rooms as needed, and all
other ADLs as needed, activity/behavior/toilet charting, assistance with oxygen as needed, rounding, shift
report. Will assist with restorative needs (follow restorative care plans - walk, use adaptive equipment, splinting,
etc.) May assist/attend resident appointments as needed (rare).
- Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift?: Yes
- Shifts & Scheduling: 8s or 12s: 8s - 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a. 12s: 6a-6p, 6p-6a.
- Weekend Requirements: Every other
- Holiday Requirements: Rotated
- Is there a call or standby requirement: None
- Floating Requirements: Will work throughout the building. A rare occasion to float to another facility, if picking
up PRN shifts.
- Scrub Color/Dress Code: Any color clean, professional scrubs.
- How many shifts of unit/department-specific orientation: 1 day.
