Job Description :
The Clinic RN is responsible for assisting healthcare providers in delivering patient care, performing nursing procedures and promoting a positive patient experience in the clinic setting. This position is responsible for, but not limited to nursing duties such as : assessments, assisting providers with procedures, calling patients with test results, prescription refills, filing, ordering medical supplies, and additional duties as assigned by provider and / or Clinic Director. Position requires excellent people skills, strong clinical assessment, critical thinking and organizational skills. Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology.
EssentialJob Functions :
- Responsible for the documentation of patient careand treatments within the electronic health record
- Functions as the primary liaison betweenpatients, staff, and providers.
- Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinaryteam to meet the needs of the patient.
- Must be able to take vital signs, triage patientcalls, refill prescriptions, complete necessary prior authorizations, scheduling referral appointments and tohelp support their team of co-workers.
