Pay Range:
For 48 HRS Guranteed - $3,214 Weekly Gross
For 36 HRS Guranteed - $2,470 weekly Gross
Job Summary:
The RN Med-Surg provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions. They monitor patient status, administer medications, assist with treatments, and coordinate care plans. This role requires strong assessment skills, the ability to prioritize multiple patients, and effective collaboration with healthcare teams. The RN ensures patient safety, educates patients and families, and maintains accurate documentation. Adaptability, critical thinking, and compassion are key qualities for success in this fast-paced environment.
Job Duties:
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and wound care as prescribed.
- Assist with pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for optimal care.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical nursing interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
