Experience Requirements:
- Experience in Medical-surgical in an acute care setting
Licensure & Certifications:
- Active RN license
- Required Certifications: BLS, Covid Card
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments: Collect data on patients' medical histories, physical assessments, and vital signs.
- Develop individualized care plans: Collaborate with the healthcare team to create tailored plans to address each patient’s medical needs, ensuring patient-centered care.
- Monitor patient progress: Evaluate and update care plans as needed based on patient condition changes, lab results, and feedback from the team.
- Medication administration: Administer prescribed medications through various routes (oral, IV, subcutaneous) while ensuring accurate dosage and proper timing.
- IV therapy and injections: Start IVs, administer fluids, medications, and blood products, and monitor for side effects or complications.
- Wound care: Manage surgical or non-surgical wounds, including dressing changes, monitoring for signs of infection, and ensuring proper healing.
