RN Wound care

Title: RN Wound care

Location: Bronx, NY

Shift: Mon - Fri, 8 hours, 37.5 hours guaranteed.

Requirement:

License: Active RN license

✔ Experience: Minimum 2 years of inpatient clinical experience (wound care experience preferred)

✔ Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing) OR WCEI (Wound Care Education Institute)

1. Job Responsibilities:

• Review consults and divide workload with the wound care team.
• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including doctors, social workers, and RNs.
• Develop and implement wound care treatment plans.
• Educate patients and families on proper wound care management.
• Work with KCI wound vacs and various wound care dressings.
• Cover inpatient units including Med-Surg, PCU, ICU, and OR as needed.
