Pay: $120 - $180 per client hour depending on experience and contract type
Schedule: Flexible depending on office availability. 25 client hours for full-time status and benefits.

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) to join our multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, manage treatment plans, and prescribe medications for clients of various ages. The ideal candidate is passionate about mental health, works well in a collaborative environment, and is committed to delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations for new and existing patients.
- Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, ensuring evidence-based care.
- Collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Provide education to patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with legal and clinic standards.
- Stay informed about advancements in psychiatric care, including clinical research and emerging treatment modalities.
- Participate in case consultations and clinic team meetings.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Education:
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Nursing with focus on Psychiatric nursing
- Graduation from a state-certified advanced practice program specializing in psychiatry/mental health
Minimum Required Experience:
- At least 1-2 years providing direct client care to persons receiving treatment for psychiatric disorders
- Excellent knowledge and familiarity with current DSM-5 criteria
- Strong functional knowledge of general psychiatric principles and practices
Licenses/Certifications:
- Must be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- An unrestricted license to practice as an advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) in the state of Utah
- Must have a valid DEA number and unrestricted DEA license in Utah
- A state-issued Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) in Utah
- Registration with the state Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) for Utah
Other
- No suspension/exclusion/debarment from participation in federal healthcare programs (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, SCHIP)
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Experience with TMS and/or Ketamine treatments for severe cases is a plus, but not required.
Employment is conditional based on undergoing a background check.
