Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles and be proficient in various accounting software. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the overall financial health of the organization.
Duties
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform technical accounting tasks, including regulatory reporting and financial report writing.
- Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage for various accounting functions.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide insights on financial performance and assist in budgeting processes.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial records.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience in corporate accounting with a strong understanding of technical accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software including PeopleSoft, Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage.
- Experience with general ledger reconciliation, balance sheet reconciliation, and regulatory reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
