Job Summary :
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of IC Design to lead our efforts in developing mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs) specifically tailored for power management applications. In this role, you will drive the technical direction of our IC design team, overseeing all phases of product development from concept through to production.
Key Responsibilities :
Leadership & Strategy :
Define and execute the design strategy for mixed-signal power management chips, aligning with the company's overall goals.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of semiconductor design engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
Design & Development :
Oversee the complete design lifecycle of mixed-signal ICs, including architecture definition, circuit design, verification, and validation.
Guide IC architecture definition, circuit design, simulation, and validation efforts to create cutting-edge power management solutions.
Collaboration & Communication :
Work closely with product management, systems engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure product specifications meet market needs.
Ensure close communication with design team members both internal and external, across different sites and time zones.
Technology Innovation :
Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor design and power management.
Encourage innovative approaches to design challenges, leveraging new tools and methodologies to enhance product development.
Project Management :
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of design projects.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with the design and production processes.
Qualifications :
Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
10 years of experience in semiconductor design, with a strong focus on mixed-signal ICs for power management applications.
Proven track record of building up and leading design teams, delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Expertise in relevant design tools and methodologies (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, VHDL, Verilog, etc) and a deep understanding of mixed-signal circuit design principles.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation in semiconductor technology.
Strong digital design background including system architecture and design methodology. Experience with microcontroller design architectures and integration of Analog Front Ends (AFE).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
