Retail Pharmacy Technician Day Shift

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Retail Pharmacy Technician is a responsible customer service representative who interacts with customers, receives and verifies prescriptions and refill requests, affixes prescription labels, and selects appropriate packaging materials. The Retail Pharmacy Technician prepares medications through mixing, counting and weighing, as prescribed by the provider and verified. The Retail Pharmacy Technician maintains a focus on safety and accuracy while demonstrating a customer first attitude.

  • Minimum Required Education: High School or equivalent
  • Preferred Education: N/A

  • Minimum Required Licenses: Kansas State Board of Pharmacy License (within 60 days of employment)
  • Preferred Licenses: N/A
• Certifications:
  • Minimum Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) (or within 2 years of employment)
