What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Relations Seasonal Assistant position at ambgroup?
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include
- Coordinate and assist with all military outreach and additional programming surrounding NFL initiatives including but not limited to; Crucial Catch, Inspire Change, PLAY 60 etc.
- Assist with youth and high school football outreach and programming where needed
- Assist with the execution of Community Relations game day operations; specifically, military activations, Honorary Captains and additional community activations throughout the season
- Coordinate distribution and maintain database of necessary tickets and credentials associated with game day
- Assist with managing @FalconsCR Twitter and Instagram accounts; keeping accounts constantly updated with new material
- Assist with processing, fulfilling and shipping donations using DonationXchange
- Manage Community Relations inventory, including appearance jerseys, equipment and promotional items
- Assist with events/special group visits during Atlanta Falcons Training Camp
- Respond to Community Relations inquiries
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience in event operations and planning
- At least one year experience working in the sports industry preferred
- Previous experience engaging with collegiate or professional athletes preferred
Skill and Knowledge Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
