ABOUT THE PROGRAM
The Atlanta Falcons and Wells Fargo are dedicated to leveling the playing field for HBCU students interested in kicking off careers in sports and entertainment. Together, with Atlanta’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), we’re excited to move the future of these industries FORWARD. Fellows will be chosen to represent each of the following schools: Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Morris Brown College, and Spelman College. Fellows will be selected by the Atlanta Falcons to work within a variety of departments including Brand Marketing, External Communications, Graphic Design, Community Relations and Engagement, Corporate Partnership, Content Production, Stadium Production, Live Events and Entertainment, and Sports Technology.

DEPARTMENT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Video Production and Broadcast Department for the Atlanta Falcons, plays a crucial role in creating and distributing content related to the team. The department's main objective is to produce high-quality video content that showcases the team's brand, culture, and success.
The department includes a team of professionals with a range of skills, including videographers, editors, producers, and graphic designers. The team works together to create a variety of video content, such as game highlights, player profiles, promotional videos, and social media content.
The department is also responsible for the distribution of content which may include coordinating with various media outlets to secure airtime for the team's games and highlights, managing the team's website and social media platforms, and creating content for in-stadium displays and advertising.
This fellow will have exposure and access to state-of-the-art video production equipment (such as cameras, editing software, and other specialized tools) and the unique opportunity to experience Ticketmaster Studios, a new multimillion-dollar digital production and media facility located in the Falcons' Flowery Branch, GA headquarters. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
- All majors are welcome to apply for the Content Production Fellow position, but these placements are most suitable for the following studies:
- Documentary Filmmaking
- Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media Studies
- For other majors, applicants must have explicitly demonstrated prior work or extracurricular experience in this field.
- Career interest in Sports & Entertainment
- Embody our core values (Put People First, Include Everyone, Lead by Example, Listen and Respond, Give Back to Others, and Innovate Continuously), academic excellence and extracurricular leadership
- Must be enrolled full-time at an Atlanta-based HBCU program at the time of the assignment (Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman College, or Morris Brown College)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
- Weekend availability required for Atlanta Falcons home games.
- This fellow will spend the majority of the fellowship based out of the Atlanta Falcons Training Facility in Flowery Branch, GA with opportunities to engage with other functions at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Must have access to reliable transportation.
