Live Events Training Camp Assistant – Atlanta Falcons
The Entertainment and Live Events department is looking for qualified candidates to join the Live Events team for the Atlanta Falcons Training Camp beginning mid-July 2025 and ending August 2025. These individuals will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of executing fan-facing, live events and activations within the sports industry. Primary responsibilities for this short-term, temporary position will include the set-up and execution of outdoor activations for the fan experience at the Atlanta Falcons Training Camp. This position is ideal for current college students who have not yet finished school and are looking for an opportunity to gain experience.
Please note: Candidates must provide reliable transportation to/from Atlanta Falcons IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, GA. Housing and relocation is not provided.
Pay/Location
- Hourly compensation is provided for this position (no more than 30 hours per week). Position is expected to last 3-5 weeks.
- Individual may qualify for college credit if allowed by their college/university.
- Primary location is IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, GA. However, individuals will also be required to work at Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, GA for certain events.
- Candidates must have reliable transportation to/from Atlanta Falcons IBM Performance Field in Flowery Branch, GA and Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
- Housing is not provided.
- Benefits and Relocation expenses are not included.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist with the manual labor and execution of all Training Camp Operations for the Atlanta Falcons including set-up, tear-down, and execution of all Training Camp activations and hospitality spaces.
- Build the Training Camp fan experience from the ground up. Set-up event equipment including tables, chairs, bike rack, tents, signage, and other event assets.
- Work to assemble and place all Atlanta Falcons branding and signage throughout the Training Camp footprint.
- Distribute fan giveaways for all guests.
- Assist with oversight on sponsor activations and external vendors.
- Enhance and contribute to fan interaction, including ticket scanning, ADA assistance, giveaways, and guest services as needed.
- Monitor event ingress, egress, and guest viewing locations.
- Drive and operate golf carts for fan transportation through camp.
- This position requires manual labor during the setup and prep for training Camp along with the tear down following the conclusion of practices.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Applicants must be a current undergraduate or graduate student.
- Prior internships, volunteer work, or any work experience in Events and Operations preferred.
Required Skills
- Must be able to work ALL Atlanta Falcons Training Camp Days and related events for the Atlanta Falcons (Falcons Open Practice, Falcons Pre-season Games).
- Duties may fall on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Mercedes Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia and the Falcons IMB Performance Field in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be on your feet for 6 hours at a time.
- Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
