Job Title: Outreach Coordinator
Reports to: National Director of Business Development
Position Overview
Outreach Coordinators are responsible for building relationships with qualified referral partners in an assigned territory, for the purpose of facilitating admissions to Ambience Recovery Center programs.
Functions
Identifies, builds, and maintains relationships with key referral partners that include healthcare providers, hospitals, crisis teams, mental health providers, unions, employee and labor assistance programs, other substance abuse treatment providers, recovery advocacy groups, and organizations concerned with addiction treatment.
- Maintains a regular servicing schedule that organizes a balance of referral partner maintenance and new business development.
- Conducts quality presentations for referral partners and communicates benefits and unique aspects of ARC’s addiction treatment programs.
- Manages all client related communication and monitors CRM daily for needed action and follow-up on referent or client needs. Communication may fall outside of regular business hours (including weekends).
- Manages all referent accounts and documents business activity appropriately in the CRM.
- Effectively converts a referral to an admission by managing the admissions process. The business development rep is measured monthly against Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
- Possesses the ability to multi-task, work with minimal supervision and problem solve through a variety of scenarios.
- Has a general understanding of treatment modalities, levels of care, and industry best practices for treating substance use and co-occurring disorders.
- Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization, including executive management, patients, and external agencies.

- Bachelor’s degree preferred. Graduate degree in business, healthcare operations/management, or in clinical/medical disciplines.
- 5 years of relevant experience in behavioral healthcare service delivery, sales, and marketing and/or business development required.
- Candidate must be a dynamic, self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively with various levels of management within the Ambience Recovery Center organization as well as with external stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to effectively lead in a changing environment.
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, shift changes.
- Ability to interact effectively as either a leader or as a member of a team and work collaboratively with others.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret human service periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and analyze policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively with employees, clients and leadership.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer skills. Basic understanding of Microsoft word suite.

- Stand, walk and sit during assigned shift hours.
- Ability to manually handle patient belongings with gloved hands.

- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
