Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an ABB VFD Sales Engineer. This role is crucial in driving the sales of ABB Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) within our region. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering, coupled with a proven track record in sales.
Responsibilities:
- Promote and sell ABB VFDs to clients within the Pacific Northwestern region.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, as well as identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure seamless integration of VFD and motor solutions into client projects.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning, execution, and monitoring of sales activities.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, addressing their specific needs and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales, with a focus on technical products or solutions.
- Familiarity with ABB VFDs or similar products is highly advantageous.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to clients.
- Self-directed and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to think creatively and strategically to drive sales growth.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
Compensation: $70,000-100,000 or DOE Commission
