Role: Cooling Tower Technician
Responsibilities:
- Apply industrial coatings to HVAC systems and cooling towers.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on cooling towers, including:
- Checking water levels and water quality
- Inspecting fans, motors, pumps and overall unit integrity
- Cleaning and maintaining heat exchangers/tube bundles
- Troubleshoot and repair cooling tower equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including:
- Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Following safety procedures for working at heights and around moving machinery
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements:
- Physical abilities:
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
- Ability to climb up and down ladders
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Skills and experience:
- Experience with basic hand and power tools
- Valid driver's license
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Pre-employment Requirements:
- Drug and alcohol screening
- DOT physical, Respirator physical & fit test
- Background check
- Driver’s Abstract
Estimated Salary: $25 - $35/hr, with flexibility based on experience.
