Johnson Barrow, Inc. has been in business for over 50 years and has established itself as one of the leading Commercial HVAC Manufacturers Representative Firms in the Pacific Northwest.
This position is responsible for processing after-market parts sales, customer orders and responding to customer's inquiries, questions or complaints regarding parts services. Seek remedies to ensure customer satisfaction and retention, along with managing inventory, purchasing, pricing and warranty administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Executes quote and order management processes with a high level of accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and follows through fulfillment
- Reacts to customer service issues, customer complaints, and/or business opportunities
- Proactively acquires BOM from manufacturers for existing equipment and provides them to the Parts Outside Sales person
- Supports warranty Parts orders and process
- Complete order entry or quote preparation
- Coordinate product deliveries to ensure on-time delivery of customer orders
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the flow of product and process
- Work with key personnel to optimize our costs and customer service
- Own and manage warehouse space availability and requirements for inventory and consignment products. Implement and oversee recycling and waste management programs to ensure a clean, organized, and efficient overall warehouse environment.
- Use inventory management methods and procedures to identify, develop, and implement continuous process improvements
- Support internal sales teams by researching options including, but not limited to receiving and processing orders, product and service questions, managing transfers, warranty administration and overall customer complaints
- Research how to competitively price all inventory while maintaining a solid profit margin
- Assist with marketing strategy for the direct sales parts office and determine the most efficient avenues to achieve or exceed overall revenue goals
- Drive customer policy enhancements based on need and makes adjustments to customer policies and procedures where appropriate
Qualifications:
- 3 years of customer service experience
- Sales experience a definite plus
- Administrative experience preferred.
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with Business Central or MS dynamics a plus
- Previous experience or ability and willingness to learn about HVAC equipment (product knowledge)
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds (with assistance from others)
- Patience, Flexibility, Positive Attitude
- Many different backgrounds can succeed in this position.
- Forklift Certification a plus (Training will be provided)
Compensation: $60,000 or DOE plus bonus potential
