We are searching for an experienced HVAC Service Technician with at least 4-6 years of experience. This position will be based out the Greater Los Angeles, CA area. The ability to communicate well and work with others is essential, as this position will interact daily with multiple internal and external teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
On site startup technician for various manufacturesTroubleshoot installation of control systemsSolving issues using reasoning and logicCommunication with individuals who installed the systemProgramming of new control system using touchscreens and computersDocumentation of actions taken on the job site on service reportsUnderstanding and reading wiring diagrams during troubleshootingCompleting all startup documentation and sending it to be entered for warrantyPerform other duties and assignments.Maintain regular good attendanceKNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES :
Standard practices of the HVAC trade.Theory of HVAC and refrigeration systems.Computer Usage : Basic data entry and ability to navigate the use of email, internet, word processing programs.Materials, methods, and tools used in the operation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems.Manual and electrical tools and equipment applicable to the HVAC and refrigeration trade.Brazing and soldering techniques.Health and safety regulations.Basic record-keeping techniques.Proper methods of storing equipment, materials, and supplies.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate8-10 years of HVAC Service Technician ExperienceLICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
Valid California LicenseActive EPA Universal Technician CertificationCompensation :
