What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Business Development Manager position at Ambition US?
We are excited to be working with an Amlaw top 50 firm, to assist with them hiring a brand new role at Senior Management level focusing upon their Financial Institutions client base, this role will play a pivotal part in the BD leadership team, working closely with the Corporate BD Director. The role itself has a unique flavor within the rest of the market, as it will give you a real opportunity to build up the BD & Marketing strategy for the group, so would suit someone who is excited by taking on a role that will give you the platform to implement you own initiatives. Given the makeup of the team, there should be a great opportunity for mid-long term career growth and professional development opportunities, you will also be supported by junior colleagues that you would line manage as you continue to grow the team. We feel this opportunity would be best suited to either a current senior manager looking for a new challenge, or an experienced business development manager, keen to take that next step up. Previous experience within a law firm setting, within an FI role or a broader finance / corporate practice role would be advantageous. Overview of the role : You will be the lead point of contact for the firm within the FI group, working closely with the partners on the developing the marketing and business development plans, which will largely come from your proactive thoughts and ideas.Provide research on the financial markets, in order to advise lawyers on specific industry trends and opportunities for the FI group.
