What are the responsibilities and job description for the AFL Service Provider(In-Home Care) position at Ambleside Inc?
- Experience as an AFL provider.
- Experience with individuals with Developmental Disabilities
- Must be able to complete trainings
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have high school diploma
Ambleside, Inc. has been serving individuals with developmental disabilities in Eastern North Carolina for over 32 years. We are looking to expand our business into the area of AFL Service provision. Therefore, we are seeking compassionate, caring, and experienced AFL providers that would like to work to increase the quality of life of the individuals that we serve.
AFL service providers contracting with Ambleside, Inc. will provide Residential Support services to individuals with developmental disabilities in the home of the AFL provider. Services include, but are not limited to;
- Passing medication
- Cooking meals for the member
- Completing daily goals to promote independence and learning
- Taking the member to community events; and
- Ensuring the member’s health and safety at all time
Ambleside, Inc. will pay AFL providers a per diem rate based on the individuals service level. For inquiries about rate of pay per day, please contact Ambleside, Inc.’s Director of Operations.
