Ambleside Inc. is a prestigious and established care provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
We are looking for a motivated, team player, to join our team as a Medical Services/ Coordinator. Our Medical Service Coordinator will assist us in providing exemplary medical services for the individuals we serve. As our Medical Coordinator you should have experience with IDD individuals, excellent time management skills, possess excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, and be able to build positive client and staff relationships.
- Participation in Clinical team meetings to coordinate with Qualified Professionals
- Daily monitoring of the Electronic Medication Administration Record System (Client Care Suite)
- Coordinating with the pharmacy to order current/ new medications
- Setting up doctor appointments and ensuring individuals make it to those appointments
- Ensuring all homes have the necessary medical supplies/ medications, through routine, on site audits of med carts/ closets
- Educating new and existing staff on correct policies and procedures as they pertain to medication administration and utilization of the EMAR system
- Regular visits to each of our residencies to ensure policies and procedures are being followed and supplies are properly maintained
Must be 18 years old or older.
Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
Must have a proficient medical vocabulary
Experience with the IDD population preferred
CMA preferred
