Position Summary
Essential Functions
· Providing support for all loan servicing functions, as necessary, including payoffs, recording and satisfaction of loan documents, releasing of recorded documents, loan collateral administration, and scanning of loan documents.
· Reviewing paid off loan reports and preparing releases and processing satisfactions in accordance with county and state requirements.
· Pulling original notes, and other recorded documents, from collateral files to prepare releases.
· Mailing paid note statements and refunds (if applicable) to borrowers.
· Preparing and mailing paid letters, cancelled notes, and discharged documents to borrowers.
· Collaborate with internal team and loan officers to verify loan payoff details and address any questions or issues.
· Preparing and processing UCC continuations, amendments, and terminations.
· Preparing files for loans being pledged to the Federal Home Loan Bank.
· Maintaining thorough and up-to-date records of loan discharges and related documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
Additional Functions
· Prioritizing the risk of exposure to loss or fraud by reviewing file maintenance reports.
· Providing assistance and guidance to borrowers and/or title companies throughout the loan discharge process, addressing any questions or concerns.
· Handling inquiries related to recorded documents for loans previously paid off.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· 3-5 years of experience in Loan Servicing.

· Knowledge of principles and practices to ascertain and assess customer needs, meet quality standards of customer service, and evaluate customer satisfaction.
· Strong knowledge of the mortgage payoff process, banking principles, products and practices.
· Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing data, files, and records, designing forms, and other office procedures.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment including proficiency in Word and Excel.
· Ability to understand new information and apply it to current and future job functions, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making.
