Position Summary

Receptionist will meet and greet all visitors to the bank and ensure a pleasant experience while waiting to be seen by bank colleagues. Ensure clients have scheduled appointments and associates are contacted timely. When appropriate direct clients to meeting locations, and answer any questions or concerns of a general nature. If clients are making deposits handle all transactions in an efficient and professional manner.

Essential Functions

· Greet and extent a warm welcome to all visitors to the bank in a professional and friendly manner.
· Ensure employee is immediately contacted, and client is properly checked in according to scheduled appointment.
· Answer incoming calls, transfer to appropriate individuals, and take messages as necessary.
· Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
· Serve as first point of contact to clients coming to the corporate administration building to make deposits.
· Contact Call Center team for other transactions involving more detailed processes.
· Resolve general customer inquiries by providing accurate information or direct them to appropriate resources as needed.
· Assist with other administrative duties assigned by Trust Department.

Job Requirements

· Previous experience in front desk receptionist duties; banking or finance industry preferred.
· Experience in working in an accounting, or call center environment is desirable.
· Experience or skillset in banking teller transactions a plus.
· Pleasant, professional and enthusiastic individual who enjoys assisting individuals.
· Excellent phone etiquette and effective communication skills.
· Good organizational and attention to detail skills.
· Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
· Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); a plus

Qualifications

Education and Experience

· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Three - Five years' experience in receptionist related job functions.

Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit for long periods of time of work.
· Ability to use computer keyboard and system to enter data and process information.
· Ability to read a computer screen at a close distance.
· Ability to use telephone to communicate with others.
· Ability to use office equipment such as teller scanner, personal computer, telephone, mobile device, copier, etc.

Working Conditions

· Moderate sound as in business office with office machines, computers, and people traffic.
· Open floor work environment.
