Job Overview:
we are looking for someone who is willing to join a team of hard working individuals who understand team work makes the dream work and willing to help out where ever needed, if your not willing to show up early and stay late when needed you will not be a good fit. we work mostly interior jobs so weather is not much of a factor in our line of work but team members being on time (15 mins early) and willing to help each other out is our biggest factor. if your lazy and call out often just ignor this post. we are here to lift each other up when ones down and honor Gods word in everything we do
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
- Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform plastering and drywall repairs as needed before painting.
- Install fixtures and perform minor remodeling tasks related to painting projects.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including mixing paint and applying finishes.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Work with stucco and masonry materials when required for specific projects.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure timely project completion.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Painter in residential or commercial settings.
- Proficiency in drywall installation and repair techniques.
- Knowledge of plastering methods and materials is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for specific projects.
- Experience with stucco application is advantageous.
- Speak english and understand it fully
- Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
