Job Description
We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to join our team at the Ambridge Area School District. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological services to students, including assessment, counseling, and consultation.
Responsibilities
- Administer standardized tests and assessments to identify student strengths and areas for improvement.
- Analyze data and develop recommendations for individualized education programs (IEPs) and Section 504 plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to develop and implement interventions to support student learning and behavior.
- Provide crisis intervention and response services to students and staff.
- Consult with parents and guardians to provide guidance and support.
Qualifications
- PDE Certification and Act 34/151/114/126/168 Clearances/Certifications required.
- Master's degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Experience working with students with disabilities, English language learners, and those from low-income backgrounds.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
