The Ambridge Area School District is seeking a qualified School Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a vital member of our school community, the successful candidate will provide essential support to the Certified School Nurse and play a key role in maintaining the health and wellness of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide health room coverage under the guidance of the Principal and Certified School Nurse
- Assist with health screenings according to State policies and guidelines
- Dispense medication and provide first aid as needed
- Maintain accurate and complete student records as required by District policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building principal
Requirements:
- Current PA License as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED Certificates
- Act 34/151/114/126/168 Clearances/Certifications
- High School Diploma and minimum two years of experience in a related field
