Job Description
- Assess student learning styles, abilities, and barriers to learning to develop effective instructional strategies.
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify strengths and challenges.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Provide consultation and coaching to teachers on classroom management and instructional strategies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local mental health providers to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess a strong background in school psychology, including knowledge of child development, learning theory, and special education law.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in school psychology or a related field is preferred, along with a proven track record of success in assessing and supporting students with diverse needs.
You should also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings and recommendations to parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
Familiarity with Google Suite and other educational technologies is highly desirable.
