Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical assistance and support to students in need, under the guidance of the Certified School Nurse.
- Assist with health screenings, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with teachers and administration regarding student health.
- Serve as a liaison between medical personnel, parents, and school staff to ensure seamless care and support for our students.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to promote student health, wellness, and safety.
- Collaborate with the Certified School Nurse to develop and implement individualized health plans for students.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices and protocols.
Requirements:
- CURRENT PA LICENSE AS A LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE OR REGISTERED NURSE REQUIRED
- Current First Aid and CPR/AED Certificates required
- Act 34/151/114/126/168 Clearances/Certifications required
