About the Position:
The Ambridge Area School District is searching for a skilled Support Services Coordinator to support our teaching staff and students. This role involves working collaboratively to deliver a top-notch education experience.
Main Responsibilities:
- Partner with teachers to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans, enhancing student outcomes.
- Provide individualized support for students within the classroom and beyond, facilitating their participation in activities.
- Engage with external professionals, such as speech therapists, social workers, and occupational and physical therapists.
- Record and maintain accurate information on student progress and services delivered through the Pennsylvania School-Based ACCESS program.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by teachers and supervisors.
Key Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; two years of experience in a related field desired.
- Required Act 34/151/114/126/168 Clearances/Certifications.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
